When the message hit, imposter‑syndrome Amando whispered, “They probably sent that to the wrong Rosales.” Friends, they did not. The Camp Mograph 2024 title sequence has officially made the finalist list at this year’s ADC Awards.

How a Campfire Story Became a Festival Opener

When director Duncan Elms (Elastic) handed each artist the brief, thirteen very different brains ran with it. Across late‑night C4D sessions (and even later‑night renders) we stitched together a visual mixtape of Australian coastlines, vivid botanicals, and the half‑dreamt ideas that bloom when you’re off‑grid.

The result is two hypnotic minutes that never let your eyes settle—because ours never settled while making it.

My Personal Angle

I tackled my shot from my small Berlin studio, surrounded by reels that read like Oscar ballots. That friction—and a stubborn drive to prove I belonged—shaped my work. It’s my reminder that the work gets better when you silence the inner critic long enough to hit Render.
