About the Project.
Swisslife, one of Switzerlands largest pension funds approached us with an intellectual challenge. We were asked to make a movie that reflects the impact of demographic change combined with low interest rates, on the Swiss retirement system. A possible answer to the current and future challenges is the AV2020 referendum that if supported by the Swiss population would strengthen the current retirement system.

We went through a lengthy process to come up with a way to visualize the entire system and all of its problems and possible solutions. Our mantra was – “keep it simple”, since the entire subject is already complex enough.
Using a high-level of abstraction through the use of metaphors and symbols, we developed a visual language that grasps the complexity in a comprehensive and visually engaging way. During the process we realised that we want to shift our focus on telling stories that have a positive impact on our and future generations.
